Size S is suitable for and often used by women who:
are petite
only use small and medium tampons and do not have heavy menstruation
have not yet given birth to children
have already given birth to one child but do not need large tampons
 
This size is rarely used by women who: 
have already given birth to several children
often need large tampons during their periods
have a weakened pelvic floor musculature
 
This size may be inappropriate if:
small or normal tampons are bad for you
you use only large tampons
you are over 40 years old and have given birth multiple times
